David Chevallier's new challenge is to combine the theorbo, a typical instrument of the Baroque period, with the trumpet of a jazz master, and to use the infinite possibilities of computers and electronics.

 

Hyperballads is atmospheric and chamber-like, working on timbres, breaths and textures. 

 

David Chevallier has teamed up with Geoffroy Tamisier, a subtle musician and refined soloist, for this original, intimate programme, composing a repertoire that highlights the resonance of the theorbo and the velvety quality of the trumpet.
